Spencer Lee, Stephen Buchanan, Austin DeSanto & Patrick Kennedy all competed in Newark, NJ a few weeks ago for World Team and National Team Spots.
Spencer Lee (57kg) and Stephen Buchanan (97kg) competed at FINAL X while DeSanto & Kennedy competed for their true-third spots on the US National Team.
Lee defeated Luke Lilledahl in two straight matches at FINAL X to make his second World Team. Buchanan lost in his best-of-three series 1-2 to Kyle Snyder. Austin received a forfeit victory over Benjamin Davino, while Kennedy fell to Evan Wick. You can read our full FINAL X Recap here!
