Up next is our home opener against Stanford. Please join us before the dual at Tavern Blue for our first Pre-Match Social of the 2024-25 season! Follow this link to check out the entire 2024-2025 schedule!
For the past 3 years the HWC has sent several athletes to the Bill Farrell International Wrestling Tournament in New York City but this year it’s likely everyone will be staying home.
Lee, DeSanto, Warner, Marinelli, Young, Eierman, and Sorensen are all very active in the room, impacting our undergrads in a meaningful way. Everyone is healthy and fully committed to supporting the University team as they embark on pursuing 25 in 2025!

For the past three years we have been partnering with local bars and restaurants to provide our fans with Pre-Match Socials! Our goal is to create an atmosphere where our community can grow and enjoy Hawkeye Wrestling together. Our social events are open to the public and free of charge! Guests can win raffle prizes, meet Hawkeye legends, and enjoy drink specials before each-and-every home dual this season!
We are also pleased to announce the formation of the HWC Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees has been established as a fundraising board to further our vision to be the number one Olympic & senior level wrestling program in America. Currently we have 3 revenue streams; Events, the Inner Circle, and our Herb Tyler Endowment. By adding another layer to our organization we feel we can start climbing our way back to the top of the wrestling world!
Please reach out to Tom and Barb Barton for more information.
If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to call or email me! Thanks again for all you do for our club and GO HAWKS!
