Hawks!
Our Hawkeyes finished the regular season with a decisive win over the undefeated Oklahoma State Cowboys, 22-9. The Hawkeyes picked up their 26th win in the all-time series against the Cowboys. Oklahoma State leads the series 29-26-2 but Iowa has won 8 of the last 10 meetings! This win brings our dual season record to 12-2 and propels us into the postseason!!
Our Hawks take the mat on Saturday afternoon at the University of Maryland’s Xfinity Center for the B1G Championships. Matches start at 12 pm (ET) and will be streamed on B1G Network.
The B1G Championships are a qualifying tournament for the NCAA. The NCAA recently released the weight-by-weight breakdown of allocations for each conference. See all the allocations here.
Iowa’s B1G Championship line-up:
Spencer Lee keeps adding to his extensive list of accomplishments! Lee struck gold in Acapulco, Mexico at the Pan-American Championships! Lee competed at 57kg, outscored his three opponents 32-2, and was only on the mat for a total of 141 seconds!!! Incredible!!!
Spencer’s success would not be possible without the generous support of our best fans and loyal Inner Circle Members! You are propelling us forward and making a difference every day! THANK YOU!!
Celebrate his championship with this limited-release, HWC – Spencer Lee tee shirt!
Mark your calendars! In the section below, there is a complete list of our 2024 fundraising events, including the Olympic Team Trials and Last Chance Qualifier! BOOM!!
We are so grateful to have you as one of our supporters. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your commitment to our team. The generosity is felt and appreciated!!
Together we’re going to keep building and keep the tradition of Iowa wrestling alive! GO HAWKS!!
