The Hawkeye Wrestling Club was established in 1973 by legendary coach, Dan Gable. Over the last 50 years, the HWC has been led by people that believe deeply in the development and growth of its athletes – both on the mat and off. There's a reason our athletes are known for their grit, tenacity, reliability, discipline, and loyalty… It's been modeled everyday by their coaches for 5 decades.

This transformative program has been able to enhance hundreds of wrestlers' lives through consistency, passionate work, and rigorous training – it could not happen without our generous supporters. With your contribution, you provide world-class training equipment, recovery & nutrition tools, event entry/logistics, funding for overseas tours, and a competitive living wage for all our athletes.
